First, let me take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to open this article. This is the review of XNode’s 10-month journey, and what 2016 might hold for us.

The idea itself was long in the making, but on March 16th 2015, when we took up a temporary office at Yangpu, it finally began to come to fruition.

But, since that date, we’d hear rumors of new co-working spaces and new accelerators popping up all over China. We didn’t know what to think at first,should we be scared? Nervous? Inspired that we were on the right track? What are we going to have to do to compete in this rapidly growing market? How do we build the right team? What does an entrepreneur need from us?

In April, we set out to answer these questions, we knew what needed to be done, and XNode had been created.Born from a vision of creating a platform for entrepreneurs both here, and abroad to succeed, since that day, we haven’t looked back. It didn’t take long before others who shared our vision wanted to get involved in building the community.

Since then, the sheer force of momentum and support has been staggering, every step of the way reassuring us that we’re on to something. But, with every step forward we must remain true to the core of our vision, an established community of entrepreneurs. We must never forget that, and that can never change, because that, is what makes us XNode.

Now we must look to the future, and what 2016 will hold for us. It’s a big year for us, we’re diversifying the XNode brand into new markets and unveiling our new Corporate Innovation Services project. We’re continuing to expand our global presence by connecting new overseas incubators/accelerators(Rocketspace, NUMA, etc.), more of the worlds leading professional services teams (Roland Berger, King & Wood Mallesons, Deloitte, etc.), and even more domestic/international VCs (e.ventures, etc.).

All this, while still preparing the best working spaces in the top locations in Shanghai, with spaces on Donghu Lu and North Bund set to open their doors later this year.

We’ve carefully collected our favorite pictures and created a timeline of XNode for you. Hopefully this will be a window for you to understand who we are and what we have achieved over the past 10 months. If you’ve already been a part of this journey, then I hope you will use this to reflect on our humble beginnings and your contribution to creating the XNode you know today. None of this would be possible without your support and belief.

Together we will make a positive impact on the journey of every entrepreneur that stays with us. 2015 has been a year of learning and a lot of fun, and I feel we will be coming into 2016 stronger and wiser.
