The Global Innovation Alliance network expands to Shenzhen to create more opportunities for Singapore startups and SMEs in China and we are proud to announce that Enterprise Singapore is partnering XNode to run the GIA Acceleration Programme in Shenzhen
According to Wei Zhou, CEO of XNode, "The China-Singapore Innovation Launchpad set up in Shanghai together with Enterprise Singapore has helped 15 Singapore startups access the Chinese market in the past year. With Shenzhen paving the way to transform China into a manufacturing superpower, it is now the right time to help international hardware entrepreneurs access Shenzhen’s ideal ecosystem. We are excited to continue bridging China and the rest of the world through both the innovation hubs of Shanghai and Shenzhen." The programme shall connect Singapore startups and SMEs to the innovation ecosystem in Shenzhen by leveraging our networks to test-bed and commercialise solutions as well as scale to other parts of China.

The Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) is a network of Singapore and overseas partners in major innovation hubs and key demand markets, with a focus on technology and innovation. It is a joint initiative between Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board.

XNode is Enterprise Singapore’s Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) partner for Shenzhen, China.
It is a Shanghai-based startup and corporate accelerator that works with international founders to scale and with large corporates to innovate. XNode has partnered with the Australian, Japanese, Korean, and Italian governments to accelerate startups within the Chinese ecosystem through their facilities in Shanghai, where over US$150 million (S$204 million) in funding has been raised. They have connected startups to their network of corporates including Merck and Visa, via over 60 corporate acceleration projects.
XNode is partnering Enterprise Singapore to run a GIA Acceleration Programme that will support Singapore-based technology startups and SMEs in accessing China through Shenzhen, with a focus in hardware.
